Kumihimo

Join our young crafty crew to learn the fun art of Kumihimo, a Japanese craft that translates to ‘gathering threads’ to create a beautiful braided cord. This is a fun easy craft to learn and you can use the braided cord to make a friendship bracelet or bookmark. we will have cardboard Kumihimo discs all set up available at no cost for any kids to try out and take home. Our crafty crew will be demonstrating how to use them. Bring along your kiddos to give it a go!

The Carmanhurst Museum

The Carmanhurst Museum takes its name from the closely situated villages of Carcoar, Mandurama and Lyndhurst. Located in the School of Arts building, in what used to be the projectionist’s room, it features an extensive collection of locally sourced war memorabilia. The collection is managed by the Lyndhurst Branch of the RSL.
